Amendment #4 would delay the enactment of H.R. 2442 until the Two Gates Fish Protection Delta Project is completed. Amendment #5 would add H.R. 856, the California Drought Alleviation Act, at the end of the bill which would waive the Endangered Species Act restrictions on the State Water Project and Central Valley Project Delta pumps during times of drought emergency. |
